Roses in December

I think that the ministry in El Salvador had the right intention of trying to help the people reach salvation and spread the faith. I also think that they were following the will of God by staying there even though they were risking their safety and ultimately their lives. I do think unjust social structures can be changed, as demonstrated by the reformative government agencies created after all of the terrible genocides in the world. If we do not continue to try, the world may erupt in chaos and tyrants may gain courage to take even more extreme measures. I understand Jean’s decision to stay, although it was not the smartest. I probably would have not stayed, because my faith is not unshakable as Jean’s is or even close to it.
