Dead Man Walking
Dead Man Walking is a very powerful film. What feelings and/or reactions did you have while viewing it?
Dead Man Walking was a very powerful and moving film. That type of movie never vanishes from your memory, and it impacted me in a way I could not imagine possible. My views of anti-death penalty were strengthened after watching this film, although I did get credible points of view from both sides of the electric chair. The parents' reactions of the children whom were murdered surprised me while watching the execution. They seemed to not even flinch, when Sister Prejean was moved to tears. I think that all Mount students, and maybe even every teenager growing up in a very political world, should see this movie to establish their views on this hot-button issue.
